Gularia (Bardia): A high-level delegation has jointly monitored the projects conducted by Banke UNESCO Club in various municipalities of Bardia in partnership with Plan International Nepal.
The joint team of the high-level delegation of Plan International Nepal and Standard Chartered Nepal monitored the economic empowerment and employment project of young women conducted by Gularia and Thakurbaba municipality of Bardia in the municipality of Banke UNESCO Club in partnership with Plan Nepal.
The monitoring team led by Mina Parajuli, Regional Head of Plan International Nepal Regional Office, Surkhet and Pranu Singh, Head of Corporate Affairs, Brand and Marketing, Standard Chartered, in Gularia Municipality-9 Rampur, after completing sewing and cutting training, who are doing business with materials for the enterprise, besides understanding the situation of the teenage women, Dental Lab Assistant in Gularia , security guard, animal husbandry and beauty parlour, had a discussion about experience and future plans.
In the same way, the team had a discussion with the teenage girls who had received salesperson training from Thakurbaba municipality. Besides that, the team discussed with the officials of the municipality, Chief Administrative Officer Ramhari Rizal, Women Development Officer Gagansara Acharya, Employment Coordinator Ravindra Aryal, Economic Development Officer Chandra Saud.
The same high-level monitoring team also discussed with teenage women who are doing OGT after training in cooking in Thakurbaba municipality, while they also discussed various issues with those who are doing OGT after training as security guards, informed Parvez Ali Siddiqui, the chief patron of the club.
During the discussions and meetings, the young women who participated in the training expressed their confidence and self-strength after participating in the training and expressed their belief that employment opportunities will be created from the skills they have received.

According to the club, 120 young women of Bardia have been provided with various ship-related trainings under the project, which was conducted with the aim of making them self-employed by providing life-useful skills and making them financially prosperous. Among the teenage girls who received vocational training, 17 people took sewing cutting, 19 people took computer training, 8 took beauty parlor training, 19 took security guard training, 16 took sales person training, 10 took cook training, 9 took animal husbandry training, 7 took dental training, 10 took Montessori training and 5 took driving training are .
